              Light management

              Darker is not always better: lens brightness should suit the activity and surroundings. For water sports, high mountains and other exposed, bright settings, 2nu recommends greater light reduction. For daytime driving, retain enough brightness and avoid overly dark lenses.

              Colour and detail

              Through-lens tint is the colour you see through the lens, not the colour of its exterior mirror coating. For green-rich settings such as grassland and woodland, 2nu tends to recommend alternatives to deep-green tints, prioritizing colour separation and detail. For daytime driving, 2nu favours neutral tints for more natural colour rendering.

              Reflected glare control

              Polarization can reduce some glare reflected from surfaces, helping you observe water or roads. The effect varies with angle and conditions.

              How do the six frames differ?

              Frames differ in shape, coverage and wearing feel, and their lens and feature options can also differ. The frame guide helps you compare fit; use the eligible product options above to choose a combination for your needs.

              How do Hexachroma, TVO Pro and TVO differ?

              Hexachroma is 2nu’s flagship polarized lens family; TVO Pro focuses on polarized glare control; TVO is a non-polarized everyday outdoor option. Open the lens comparison and use your activities and the lens-view illustrations on each card to help you choose.

              How do Prescription Hexachroma and Prescription differ?

              Both provide vision correction and polarization. Prescription Hexachroma uses the Hexachroma lens family, while the standard Prescription option provides polarized prescription lenses. Choices depend on the frame and prescription requirements and are confirmed during the prescription process.

              Can every frame take prescription lenses?

              Not every frame supports prescription lenses. Select Prescription to see only prescription combinations that meet your selected activities and features. If there are no matches, adjust your choices or contact 2nu for guidance.
